Our last class will be Monday December 19. We will have a Portfolio Review of your 10-15 works and a glimpse of your blogsite. See you then!

December 5 Class

Next week we will be working on the Photomontage assignment in class. Please come to class with ideas and some elements that you might like to include in the Photomontage. Check out some work online to generate ideas and concepts for your work:   http://www.collageart.org/photomontage/
 Also come to class prepared to start printing some of your portfolio work for the December 19 Class Portfolio and Website Review. You will need 10-15 photos mounted on black or white mountboard.

Due Monday, November 14

Read Chapter 18 in textbook about the History of Photography. Write a 1 page reflection about an invention in photography. Include who invented it, when, and what contribution it makes in our world today. Please print it out and hand in to me on Monday.

Also due is an Image Re-creation of a photo which inspires you. Please email the image to me by Sunday evening. We will print them out in class.

Email me (rebecca@cauchonphoto.com) 3 of your favorite images from the Body, Shape and Form assignment by Sunday evening November 6. In class on Monday we will critique them all and then print one of them for your portfolio.

Class Photo Shoot

This Monday, Oct 17 we will meet in the classroom and then go on a class photo field trip to the reservoir down the street on Rt 9. Bring your cameras, tripods, flashes. We will be shooting for an outdoor portrait.  (weather permitting)

2 Photos should be emailed to me by Monday evening Oct 10. One that shows ACTION SHARP, and the other with MOTION BLUR.
